Land of the brave; the next big thing!


 

Land of the brave; Cavite is known as Historical Capital of the Philippines and the home of the Philippine heroes. Cavite is dearly remembered as it was the place where most of the Philippine historical events happened.  Kawit, Cavite played a great role in Philippine history, it is the place where the late Pres. Emilio Aguinaldo renowned the Philippine flag day. “Ang lugar kung saan unang iwinagayway ang bandila ng Pilinas”. Cavite belongs to the region CALABARZON and is the smallest province in the region. Cavite’s land area is 1,427.06 square kilometres (550.99 sq mi). Located at the entrance of Manila Bay, Cavite comprises of 6 cities namely Bacoor, Cavite City, Dasmarinas, Imus, Tagaytay, and Trece Martires.

CaviteƱos are also very hospitable and are easily understood because majority of them understand English, Filipino and Chabacano (broken Spanish). Due to Cavite’s proximity to Metro Manila, large number of people is transferring to Cavite resulting to the wide span of language used in the place. CaviteƱos also can speak broken Spanish or the dialect Chabacano because of Spanish colonization in the past.  Also, 80% of the population in Cavite is Christian.

“Cavite first class, world class”, is Cavite’s mission and vision. The province is striving to build their name in every part of the industry and thus targeting to be known worldwide. They have been improved on a lot of areas and truly Cavite is already getting there.

On production, Cavite is known for their rich marine resources. The province is blessed with many products such as Coffee, Cocoa Tablets, Kaong, Vinegar, Tahong Chips, Smoked   Fish, and other Processed Seafood. They also make Processed Fruits and Vegetables,   Milk and Milk Products, and Native Delicacies. Not only in food products but Cavite also produces crafts such as Bamboo Products like Novelties; Furniture like Ceramics, Bags, Wallets, Novelty Items and Scented Candles.

Cavite is a very ideal place to live if you want a countryside living. Cavite has fresh air because there are no buildings overcrowding even vehicle congestion. Cavite also maintained their greenery from time to time. Cavite is surrounded by marine giving the province a sea breeze to soothe the tropical weather of the country. In addition the province has bounty of trees and plants that is why it gives the sense of a ‘province living’.

When it comes to tourist attraction, Cavite is also on top of the list. Some of the must- visit places in Cavite are Taal Volcano, Corregidor Island, Taal Lake, People’s Park in the Sky, Museo De La Salle and many more. It will be a shame if you will not experience the Tagaytay air. Many tourist file Tagaytay on their bucket list and even natives go back and forth just to experience the place. Since Tagaytay is on a higher altitude, the air is cold and is usually breezy.  Not to mention that the view on the place is just breath taking. Dining restaurants are also thumbs up giving you the view of the Taal Volcano while eating your mouth watering bulalo.

As time goes by reaching the 21st generation, Cavite also cope up to the technology that the world brings yet kept its simplicity. Cavite launched one of their missions: “Cavite Open for Business”.  “Aiming to increase the province’s carrying capacity to accelerate its economic growth and development; through the formulation and implementation of a fundamentally sound fiscal, economic and environmental policies.” 

One of the biggest improvements in Cavite is by means of transportation. Old Cavite has 2 major lanes only and is recognized to be the place of small and stiff roads. However today they already have 4 wide lanes giving more space to cars and easier travel time for everyone. The establishment of Cavitex is also one of the most remarkable industrial projects launched. The travel time form Manila to Cavite before takes 1-2 hours, but because of Cavitex the travel time was cut to 30 minutes.  Major Infrastructure projects are being pushed for implementation and completion to complement rapid urbanization such as the R-1 Extension, Daang-Hari Road (CALA East-West Road), North-South Road, CALA Expressway, LRT-1 Extension, Ternate-Nasugbu Road and Sangley Point Port Development Project. 

Investments also entered Cavite and one of the biggest investments that made a hit in the province is the real estate developments. Since Cavite is an ideal place to live and start a family, real estate developments were built and are still being developed today. Since Cavite is already just minutes away from the city, many people are investing real estate properties in Cavite. A reason to add up also is because of its cost, many affordable house and lot are being developed in the province. The property is at Cavite rate thus giving the consumers many more reasons to buy a property; definitely a win- win situation. Cavite took the first place in real estate development and is continuously getting the attention of the consumers.  

Through all the reasons, Cavite already is trending amongst the provinces in the Philippines. They are slowly building their name in terms of tourism, production, industrial progress and more. Many investors already partnered with Cavite making them a province to keep an eye on. Truly Cavite is worthy to be called the next big thing.
